Art Connects Us
A Note From Julie
Hi,
I’m Julie, founder of Art Connects Us—and a parent who wanted my kids to experience meaningful art at school.
With a degree in art education, I’ve always believed in the power of art to build confidence, creativity, and self-expression. But when I saw that my children’s elementary school didn’t have a dedicated art program, I knew something was missing.
So I stepped in.
What started in my kids’ classrooms quickly grew into something bigger. I realized many schools wanted to offer art—but lacked the time, structure, and support to do it well.
And too often, art was reduced to one-time projects—fun, but not building real skills or confidence over time.
I knew there had to be a better way.
So I created a program that makes art education:
-
Simple to teach
-
Structured with real skill progression
-
Meaningful for every student
Over the past decade, Art Connects Us has been used by teachers, parent volunteers, and schools just like yours.
Because here’s what I believe:
You don’t need to be an artist to teach art.
You need a program that guides you.
And every child deserves the chance to create, express, and feel confident in their ideas.

What Parents Are Saying
"I love that I can bring art to my daughter's classroom when I know nothing about art or teaching. I am so busy, and all I have to do is quickly review the slides the night before and I'm ready to go."
